My Little Firecracker!

I picked her name out the day after I had Brittani. Her name is Victoria Blair. I knew right from the start she was going to be a little firecracker. When we came home from the hospital and she kept me up almost everynight. I guess if she could not sleep then noone was going to sleep. I do remember however; when she was about 3 months old she began doing this crazy little thing when she was sitting in her little carrier. You had better make sure she was always strapped in. If you did'nt you would find her with her back arched so much that the top of her head would be flat on the floor and she was scooting her way out of that crazy seat. It looked as if she was doing a back bend. I would always say you could put her in an iron cage with nothing in it and she would find a way out or tear it up one. She was fiesty! Wait a minute she still is.
Blair looked way different than her big sister when she was born. She was light brown hair and olive skin. The older she got the curlier her hair got. She reminded me of Shirley Temple at one point. I always dressed her and Britt alike. In mean indentical. People ask why? Well because if I bought one thing for one and something else for the other they would fight over it. So I found a remeady to that quickly.
Let me describe Blair to you now that she is 17 and a senior in high school this year. She is 5'2 105lbs. She has light brown hair and wears all of about a 0. Ugh it must be nice!  She is still fiesty, moody, sweet, kindhearted, beautiful ( she does not think so), hyper, hardworker, persistent, mouthy, drama queen ( as is most girls) and etc.....

More on her later........

Hmmm! Not really sure where to start. So, how about this. My name is Gidget. I know, I know your are saying to yourself really! Yes, it is true. That really is my god given name. I am ok with it now but, when I was younger I was so embarrassed. I would not even open my mouth to tell people my name. However, it could have been because I had a huge GAP between my 2 front teeth that was humiliating. Not to worry it is not there now. As soon as I was grown I took care of that. I had been made fun of long enough and all I could think about was the old lady on HeeHaw when I was younger. You know the one. She was always ironing her mans clothes and she wore her hair in pigtails with a huge GAP in her teeth. All I could think about was how I will not look like that woman when I am grown. No WAY!!!
Now that you know a little about me let's get on to what this blog is really about. God saw fit to shower me with female children. 4 daughters to be exact. I really never wanted any sons and I guess that is a good thing. When I was 19 I had my first bundle of joy. Her name is Brittani. She was the most beautiful little girl with an olive complexion and a head full of hair. However; when the nurse brought her into my room I asked " are you sure that is my baby because she looks chinese?"  Yes, she is yours. So I embraced this little angel and we went on our way. Brittani was like my live little babydoll. She was my 1st daughter and the 1st grandaughter. People showered her with gifts. In fact she had so many clothes that she never wore them all.
Brittani was not only my daughter but my best friend. I remember Brittani laying in her little bed at night and I would go in and lay with her. She did not even know most nights because, she was asleep and I would lay there and talk to her. She is what kept me going. I want to thank her for that. I love you Brittani!

Stay tuned more on the rest of the girls later.....
